All about Space! - Bobby Bahov's newsletter

Dear friends,
I can’t believe spring is almost here! While it seems time flies faster than ever, in the past few weeks there was a lot of movement in the space sector. This edition of the newsletter is dedicated to that.

Peter Beck ate his own hat!
Yes, the CEO of Rocket Lab actually did that because once in the past he had said he’ll eat his own hat if his company ever moves towards reusable rockets. I don’t know how successful he’ll be with his rockets but he did deliver on the promise to eat his own hat!
You can watch the very cool announcement video of the company’s newest rocket “Neutron” ending with him eating his hat here. 🧢
I covered this and other interesting developments from the space industry in the second episode of the podcast Exponential Future. The goal of the series is to offer short and structured titbits explaining exponential technology and helping listeners keep up to date with new developments. You can listen to it here. 🚀
AI in Space
In a month full of space news, I also released a video covering some of the most interesting examples of artificial intelligence applications in the Space Industry. Check it out on my YouTube channel.
While the pandemic and economic crisis keep ongoing and many businesses suffer, I’d like to share with you a quote by  Andy Grove, former CEO of Intel:
Bad companies are destroyed by crisis. Good companies survive them. Great companies are improved by them. — Andy Grove, former CEO of Intel
Stay safe and see you soon!
